Neill Hobbs
Director
Chartered Accountant CA (SA), Registered Auditor and Senior Business Rescue Practitioner. For the last 14 years, Neill has been a partner of Hobbs Sinclair where his skills have been utilised in building an accounting practice, specialising in tax structures. Neill is a Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and has a BComm honours degree in Financial Management. Neill completed his audit articles at Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC). Furthermore, he acted on the main board as a director and managing director for Rennie Grinaker Zimbabwe Limited, Kestrel Group and Elexir technology Holdings Ltd. Four years ago Neill became a Business Rescue Practitioner and has taken on many successful appointments to date which involved hundreds of jobs being saved and a return of profitability to these companies. His high level strategic management was a key driver which led to their success.

Greig Sinclair
Director
Greig completed his tertiary education at UNISA with a B.Compt honours and post-graduate diploma in auditing. He also completed his articles at Betty and Dickson (now RSM Betty and Dickson). Apart from many years of public practice, Greig has also served as CFO for a number of prominent private companies. He became a partner at Hobbs Sinclair in 2006, specialising in corporate structure, tax compliance, audit, financial and management accounting, tax and financial strategy.

Morné Janse van Rensburg

Inspired by Winston Churchill’s famous quote, ‘Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts, ‘ Morné’s dedicated, focused, and charismatic approach to his work has fostered a stellar career in a short space of time.
After graduating from Stellenbosch University with a BComm Honours in Management Accounting, Morné began his career at Hobbs Sinclair Advisory before being appointed as Managing Director of Bannister Trust (Pty) Ltd, which specialises in the administration and management of trusts by providing holistic, tailor-made advice to clients.
Morné is a great team player and critical thinker. He enjoys mentoring the CIMA trainees, who are an essential part of Hobbs Sinclair’s dynamic team.

Danielle Luwes
Tax Director
Completed BComm Hons Degree in Management Accounting at the University of Stellenbosch in 2011.
Completed my articles at Hobbs Sinclair Advisory (HSA) from 2012 to 2014.
In 2015, became the tax and advisory manager in HSA, specialised in tax structures and planning, implementing comprehensive tax strategies for clients. Also responsible for the tax compliance of +-300 clients.
Successfully managed the CIMA Trainee program since 2015. Under my guidance/ mentoring, we are responsible for placing more than 20 successful applicants (Chartered Management Accountants) to CIMA, in the international work space.
In 2016 became an associate/member with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Extensively involved in the set-up, advice and tax structures of newly formed Section 12J VCC’s. Also involved in consulting to existing Section 12J VCC’s and providing tax opinions and strategies for optimal compliance and benefit to clients.
